Certificate Policy
Certificate Issuance
ISCT program certificate issuance policy outlines the process and criteria for awarding certificates to individuals who successfully complete ISCT training programs. Eligibility for a certificate is contingent upon meeting program requirements, including completion of all course modules or assessments within the specified timeframe, if applicable. Upon completion, participants may request a certificate by submitting a formal request along with any necessary documentation. Certificates are promptly issued electronically and made accessible to learners on their program course pages once they have fulfilled all necessary course requirements. Learners may still receive a course participation certificate upon completion of the course survey. Each certificate is assigned a unique certificate ID for identification purposes. Certificates may be subject to revocation if it is later determined that the participant did not meet the eligibility requirements or provided false information. Confidentiality of personal information is strictly maintained in accordance with our privacy policy. This policy is subject to periodic review and updates to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Certificate Term
Our certification invalidation policy stipulates that certificates issued through our training programs will become invalid after a period of 8 years from the date of issuance. This policy is subject to periodic review and updates to align with the accreditation agencies standards and requirements.

The invalidation of a course certificate can occur under several circumstances:
Expiration Date: Some certificates come with an expiration date, after which they are no longer considered valid. This is common in fields where knowledge and skills need to be regularly updated, such as IT certifications, healthcare, and certain professional licenses.
Revocation by Issuer: The ISCT Institute of Training and Development will revoke a certificate if they discover the certificate was obtained fraudulently. This could include situations where the holder cheated, plagiarized, or misrepresented their identity.
Violation of Code of Conduct: If the certificate holder is found to have violated the institution's code of conduct or ethical guidelines, the certificate will be invalidated.
Duplicate Issuance: If a certificate is issued in error or as a duplicate and the error is later discovered, the duplicate may be invalidated.
Statement of Inference
The issuance of certificates from an ISCT educational course serves as a testament to the individual's attainment of a certificate of completion, upon completion of the course assessments. Additionally, the awarding of a certificate of participation acknowledges engagement in the educational process by participants who have completed the course evaluation survey but have yet to complete the course assessment. The certificate of completion signifies proficiency in the subject matter knowledge but does not qualify them in the subject matter area. Our certificates are not a license to practice within the given subject matter area.
